A Security Review is a document created on behalf of secured lender by an impartial legal advisor in respect of an existing loan and security held by that lender.
Such reports are often necessary when a lender needs to take legal action against a borrower who has defaulted under the terms of its loan. A Security Review will provide a thorough evaluation of the security interests held by the lender, including their perfection and priority.
Additionally, the Security Review offers helpful advice on the steps the Lender must take to protect, improve, and maintain its security interests moving forward.
