Since our last Download we have progressed passed May 17 and are all enjoying being out and about a bit more. With typical unreliability, the British weather has failed to co-operate and has given us cold temperature, hail stones and April showers in May. At least we can sit inside now when shelter is required. Many more of us are also now double-vaccinated, including Karen and I, and are leaving our screens and venturing back into the City for proper meetings.
We continue to progress our recruitment drive and have added another senior lawyer, Susan Henning. Susan introduces herself in our Download below. She brings a vast repertoire of real estate experience to our team and continues our drive to expand so that we can serve our clients even better. We are on the lookout for more additions to the team in the months to come.
What of the rest of the team? Adel has settled into working with the team seamlessly and has successfully steered a multitude of CBILS financings over the end-of-month finish line. Anne and Kelly are now both proud owners of their first practising certificates, Anne in England and Wales and Kelly in New Zealand. We are delighted to welcome them back as qualified Associates. Cerys has been rather busy of late as the development finance market continues to expand apace. Clodagh and Edmund have been attending several courses and writing articles for our website as well as closing off transactions. We have also recently joined Twitter and Millie is spearheading our latest social media efforts. Meanwhile Karen and I have been busy pitching for new work. Until next time….
