Last December was a particularly busy month for our clients, what with all the difficulties the SME commercial property sector is experiencing. Being a conscientious bunch determined to deliver the best possible service, on time and on budget, we concluded that a celebration in December just wasn’t going to happen. We agreed that a team lunch nobody could attend wouldn’t be much fun so we postponed it to the New Year.
Meticulous in the planning, and not wanting any excuses about dry January, we scheduled it for February. In true Newmanor spirit, we put the needs of our clients first and postponed our festivities to a time which allowed a relaxed afternoon.
When the time did come for us to celebrate, we enjoyed a lovely 3-course meal at Luc’s Brasserie, which is in the historic Leadenhall Market. All thirteen of us whiled away a wonderfully relaxing afternoon, fuelled by excellent food and organic wine (the healthy choice of course).
The only interruption of the afternoon was a very positive one – we exchanged on a transaction at the lunch table, which makes me wonder whether we really need offices.
