Niche Firm Network – seminars and memberships

As we enter into 2022 and COVID restrictions are lifted, the Newmanor team are starting to get back into London to meet with our clients and contacts and also to meet up as a team again.  It has been great to reconnect in person and we are all thoroughly looking forward to hosting and attending real estate focused events throughout the year.

Niche Firm Network

Despite our eagerness to be meeting face to face again, we held our first Niche Firm Network event of the year virtually this month. The event was hosted by Corporate and Governance specialists Arinna Law. It was great to catch up with our member firms and discuss our plans for 2022.

The Niche Firm Network was established in November 2018 by founding Partners, James Dakin and Karen Mason with the support of like-minded niche firms. The ethos underpinning the Network is to share knowledge, to network and introduce new contacts, and to be able to connect clients to experienced lawyers with other areas of expertise. Since our inaugural meeting three years ago in January 2019 the Network has expanded and strengthened. Our plan for 2022 is to continue to grow and strengthen the Niche Firm offering. The membership now includes 18 member firms.

We are currently planning our next in person Niche Firm Network event in March.

Seminars 

Newmanor have a series of seminars planned for 2022 with interesting topical themes and fantastic speakers.  In February we are hosting our first event of the year.   This will be a virtual event and we are really excited to announce details of the event and speakers very soon.  Our first in person event will be in April, more details will be circulated closer to the time.

The seminars are a great opportunity for our clients and contacts to discuss topical themes with like minded individuals

Memberships

Kelly, Clodagh, and Louise are all active members of Women in Property, and several the other Newmanor team members enjoy coming along to Women in Property events regularly.  Kelly and Louise are both committee members and are planning to organise a number of events this year including an afternoon tea in March. Women in Property creates opportunities, expands knowledge and inspires change for women working in the property and construction industry and Newmanor are really proud to be involved with such a positive and diverse community.  The network links members to fellow professionals across sectors and across the UK. If you’re a member of Women in Property, do reach and connect with one of the Newmanor members, we’d love to see you at upcoming events.
