Edmund brings a dual specialism in real estate and real estate finance transactions. This enables Edmund to simultaneously run the two interconnected work streams for lender and property focused clients. For example, wearing his lender cap, Edmund is assisting an award-winning mid-market lender who recently provided a significant loan to a borrower renovating a prime residential property in Regent’s Park on which Edmund produced the security documentation and ran the property due diligence and reporting.

With his real estate cap on, Edmund is supporting a SME developer who recently acquired land with the benefit of planning permission to construct six dwellings using finance on which Edmund ran the buyer and borrower parts of the financed acquisition. Edmund, with 6+ years post qualification experience, is helping clients provide and borrow loans ranging from £1m-£35m and acquire and sell land for development ranging from 1 to 250 dwellings.

What Edmund's clients say...

I am a residential developer who recently completed the construction of luxury apartments in the London Borough of Bromley. The real estate and real estate finance team at Newmanor, in particular James, Karen, Edmund and Mandy, assisted with the development lease for the site, the financing for the development and the long leases for the apartments. The service provided was excellent. The team do what they say, they push the transaction and then tell me where we are up to. Very responsive and all for a genuine fixed fee. I am happy to recommend Newmanor Law’s services.

At United Trust Bank, we’re always busy providing tailor made property finance solutions to our customers, supporting them through their acquisitions, developments, refinancing and restructuring projects. James and Edmund at Newmanor Law help us navigate the noise, plan a clear path to completion and suggest simple solutions that keep deals on track. They are always a pleasure to work with.

Jack Simons
Relationship Manager, Structured Finance, United Trust Bank

The Newmanor Team pushed the transaction forward to completion in a record time of 4 weeks to enable energisation. Karen, Edmund and Mandy do not put up with delays and they actively found solutions and helped to unblock this transaction to keep our development on track and all for a genuine fixed fee which was honoured. I am happy to recommend Newmanor Law’s services.
