Stephen Sykes

Stephen has been described by peers as one of the UK’s most commercially minded environmental lawyers. A natural team player, Stephen likes to work with other professional advisors to find the best solutions for clients. A co-founder of the City of London’s environmental insurance market, for more than 20 years Stephen has been helping property clients to unlock transactions hampered by complex environmental issues.

A former Chair of the UK Environmental Law Association (2015-2017), Stephen co-founded and chaired a leading environmental report and due diligence provider, Argyll Environmental. He is also a Visiting Fellow at Birkbeck’s School of Management.
